I know a piece of it is just the audio effects but you sounded really good. I had absolutely no trouble following the lyrics and your final transition was very nice. It stands out but not so much that it feels out of place at all. Same as many other people though I did feel like that the revised chorus was a bit chaotic. Also the overlays in general could stand to be a bit softer with a touch of reverb to make it blend into the lead vocal track better, rather than it competing with it slightly. I have a few comments though. I agree with Danni M that the alternate chorus has too much overlay. The vocals get a little muddled, especially in the last two lines. In the last verse, you have the lyric "And I need to know now/Could this ever have worked?" but I think that it would sound better if you added "out" to the end of that sentence. "Now" and "out" make a pseudo-rhyme which sounds better to me with the flow that the rest of the verse has set up. I really like this track, and it’s nice to hear something new from you.
